[REBORN!] Arguably the best KitKat Rom till date!

**Update/ Surprise: The dev just released 21st Jan build! Happy Flashing!

One fine day while browsing the forums as usual, I stumbled upon a thread. There was something different about this one. Usually a dev compiles a rom and publishes it in the forums but that wasn't the case with this one. Someone found this rom on one of the Korean Forums and just shared it on xda. AND ALMOST EVERYONE WHO CAME ACROSS THIS ROM JUMPED THE SHIP!
The reasons were obvious - Stability, Features, Performance and Battery life. While other roms struggled to get all the basic features (like connectivity) going, this rom was already rocking most of the bonus features from 4.3 or 4.2 roms. Check out the link to find out about all its features. Sadly the dev bought a nexus 5 and called it quits on this project! Still it'll take some time for other roms to catch up with what this one has achieved.

Pound Rom is based on Android 4.4.2. The rom is buttery smooth and the in-built kernel has been perfectly tuned. Kernel is actually one of the standout features of this rom. It supports famous stweaks features like overclock, undervolt, changing the cpu governors & i/o schedulers, BLN, etc. Many users including myself have reported good battery life. You can install Greenify and further improve your battery life. The rom comes with a ton of customization options and includes some of the famous features like ninja halo, suspend actions and active display! Watch my full video review to learn more about these options. You can always install Xposed framework and take the rom customization to a whole new level!

Let's divert our attention to some of the system apps now. Camera and camcorder are both functional and you can enjoy shooting 720p and 1080p videos at 30 fps with stereo recording. All the usual connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, 3G (HSPA+) are fully functional and I must mention, bluetooth headsets will work too. If you are a regular Google Maps user and always use Navigation on the go, you wouldn't be disappointed either as GPS is fully functional & you'll get a lock within ten seconds. Turning our focus towards some of the most useful and famous user apps, I am happy to report that ad-blocking apps like AdAway are working and so is Titanium Backup. Although I'd advise you not to restore your app data and system data using Titanium Backup. Unfortunately the rom does not support OTA (Over-The-Air) updates but now that it's DEAD, it's a little too late to be sad about the missing OTA feature!

Nonetheless the rom is definitely worth a shot, so do let me know what you guys think if you try this one out.
